Amazon FBA analytics data source · Scale plan

Your Amazon FBA return rate, in the same dashboard as Shopify

The Amazon FBA analytics data source tracks return rate by ASIN and SKU for your FBA orders and returns, with reason-code breakdowns built on the Amazon Selling Partner API, in the same dashboard as your Shopify returns. You connect it with SP-API credentials from your own Amazon account.

Amazon coverage is FBA-only. Merchant-fulfilled (FBM) orders and returns aren't counted.

What Returns Intelligence does for Amazon sellers

By ASIN & SKU

Return rates at the catalog level, not a single store-wide average, so you can see exactly which listings come back.

Same dashboard as Shopify

Your Amazon FBA returns are reported on the same sale-month cohort basis as your Shopify returns, in the same workspace.

Reason-code breakdown

Understand why units come back (defective, wrong size, or no longer needed) straight from your FBA returns data.

Act on margin leaks

Prioritize the listings driving the most returned units so your bestsellers keep performing.

How the Amazon connection works

You provide Selling Partner API credentials from your own Amazon SP-API application, we validate them before import, and the dashboard keeps Amazon data alongside Shopify. Guided setup in Settings → Connections walks through each credential.

  1. Create your workspace with Shopify

Returns Intelligence is installed for a Shopify store; that workspace is where your Shopify and Amazon returns live together. The Amazon FBA analytics data source is part of the Scale plan.

  2. Add your Amazon connection

In Settings → Connections, enter Selling Partner API credentials from your own Amazon SP-API application (endpoint, LWA client ID and secret, refresh token, and marketplace IDs). We validate the connection before any data is imported. Creating an SP-API application in Amazon Seller Central is a manual, Amazon-controlled process that can take some setup time.

  3. We import your FBA history

Your FBA orders, returns, and refunds are backfilled and matched to ASIN and SKU automatically, with no manual report downloads.

  4. See return rate by listing

The same SKU-level clarity Shopify sellers get, mapped onto your Amazon catalog, in the same dashboard as your store.

Your Amazon data, handled carefully

Read-only, minimal data

We request only the Selling Partner API scopes returns analytics needs, and avoid storing buyer identity fields we don't need.

Built to Amazon's policies

Designed to align with the Amazon Selling Partner API Data Protection Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
